I've been a passionate photographer for several decades. Having learned the mechanics on a film SLR in the 70's, the digital era found me initially working with simple point-and-shoot cameras. While I've learned that even those can produce good images, in 2012 I recieved my first DSLR, and my love for the art intensified! I liken the experience to writing with a typewriter...and then discovering word processing! I love shooting natural scenes, including landscapes, seascapes, creeks and rivers and especially waterfalls. But I'm drawn to many diverse subjects, including motorsports, architecture, wildlife and pretty much anything that presents an interesting composition. Technique-wise, I'm particularly fond of slow shutter work,...
