Description
Down the shore in New Jersey and visiting a wildlife refuge named Higbee Beach where there is a tale of a woman who saw the ghost of a pirate on this beach. I went hoping to see the ghost or feel some mystical presence but instead found myself wondering about those glorious days of the clipper ships, the tall ships that sailed in those days of the pirates and wished I could see those days and those ships from this shore. Leading me to paint the scene I yearned for.
