This print is very nice. I plan to get a orange mat board and some kind of rustic wood frame. Colors are beautiful!

This is one of the more unique renditions of starry night that I have seen. There is no colors are beautiful and this world's certainly relate to the original. A great addition to my collection

Artist's Description
As a little girl my father would take my sister, brother and I on leisurely drives from mid-Long Island out to the very tip. A few towns from the very end is East Hampton and passes this lovely spot appropriately named Town Pond.
I remember East Hampton for its serene beauty. It is a quiet town and the drive to it was along the old Montauk Highway, which runs all the way to the end of Long Island.
The pond seems a dreamy setting to me. It has changed little since my visits many years ago with my father, who was sensible enough and sentimental enough to make it part of my own fondest memories.

Lovely use of atmosphere here, Barbara. Your use of strong contrasts reminds me of the famous Hudson River School of artists. Beautiful work of art.....Fav / like
Barbara Barber replied:
Jerry, I am so flattered and amazed you said that because that is what I have been going for. I deeply admire and love the Hudson River School of art's approach and never thought anyone would see that. It exactly mirrors my way of painting! Most grateful for your compliment, to be compared to such a wonderful body of work. Thank you!!!
