A little bird perched on top of my cactus outside my window. He looked right at me and I stepped outside to take his picture. He never moved and seemed nearly to pose. Was so cute I wanted to do this painting of him.

Originally I painted under my maiden name and signed Clements for many years to my work. I married several years ago and my married name is Barber. However I sign as Clements to honor my father and mother who loved my art and encouraged me to paint. Both encouraged me in art every step of the way. I am originally from Long Island. Long Island.. I now live in Arizona and love the landscape out here as well. Natural beauty is everywhere. The earth is lovely.
